Boiling Spring Lakes woman arrested following domestic incident

BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC (WWAY) — A Boiling Spring Lakes woman was arrested on Saturday following a domestic incident.

Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department responded to a report of a domestic incident in the 200-300 block of Redwood Road.

34-year-old Angie MacDonald was arrested and charged with felony kidnapping, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, misdemeanor resisting public officer, and misdemeanor assault on a government official/employee.

MacDonald was also served with an outstanding criminal summons for second degree trespass from another incident at a different date and location.

She is currently being held at the Brunswick County Detention Center.
