‘Box and Cox’ Brings the laughs to Thalian Hall this weekend
WILMINGTON (WWAY) — The Victorian farce ‘Box and Cox’ returns to Thalian Hall for performances in the Ruth and Bucky Stein Theater.
The play has been called one of the funniest ever written and Thalian Executive Director Tony Rivenbark says it “is one of the plays that has stood the test of time”.
It is the story of two unsuspecting men whot rent the same room and how their landlady conives to keep them separate so she can collect rent from them both.
When the men get wind of the ruse it becomes a day full of fun, cheating, confrontations and eventually congratulations and embraces.
