Breeze Airways adds four new routes from Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Breeze Airways is expanding its presence at Wilmington International Airport with the addition of four new routes, along with increased service to Orlando.

The low-cost carrier announced it will launch direct flights to Akron-Canton, Ohio; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Long Island-Islip, NY; and Tampa, FL this fall, with fares starting at $39 one-way.

Starting today, travelers can book flights on the following routes:

  • Akron-Canton, Ohio – Operates Mondays and Fridays, starting November 7, with fares from $49 one-way.
  • Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Operates Mondays and Fridays, starting November 7, with fares from $39 one-way.
  • Long Island-Islip, N.Y. – Operates Thursdays and Sundays, starting October 2, with fares from $49 one-way.
  • Tampa, Fla. – Operates Thursdays and Sundays, starting October 2, with fares from $39 one-way.
  • Orlando, Fla. – Existing service will double to four times weekly, with flights on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays starting in September.

According to a news release, the $39 No Flex Fare promotion is available only when booking a new reservation for ILM-TPA and TPA-ILM, and ILM-FLL and FLL-ILM. 

The $49 No Flex Fare promotion is available only when booking a new reservation for ILM-CAK and CAK-ILM, and ILM-ISP and ISP-ILM.  Promotion must be purchased by May 13, 2025,  for travel through January 6, 2026.
