Brian Chism sworn in as Brunswick County Sheriff
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Monday afternoon, Brunswick County Commissioners approved a resolution to appoint Chief Deputy Brian Chism as sheriff.
The Brunswick County Republican Party unanimously recommended Chism to fill the vacancy left by John Ingram.
Ingram retired yesterday.
Chism has served at the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office for more than 18 years.
