Brides-to-be explore wedding options at Wilmington expo

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Wedding Expo, held at Hi-Wire Brewing, brought together brides-to-be, wedding vendors, and planners for a day of inspiration and planning. The event, sponsored by WWAY, featured a wide range of local businesses offering services for couples preparing for their big day.

From photographers and DJs to bridal dresses and cakes, nearly every aspect of a wedding was represented. Attendees had the chance to meet with vendors, explore options, and get advice on making their weddings special and unique.

Aspen Daw, who is planning her wedding for 2026, attended the expo and appreciated the variety of options available.

“Everything was here. You had your estates, you had your food, you had options for DJs, options for music, and everything. It was a really all-encompassing event that gave the bride just those kinds of answers…”

Throughout the day, various vendor raffles were held, with WWAY’s Tomika Jackson announcing the wedding dress giveaway. One lucky bride walked away with a dress from a local boutique.
