Brunswick Co. Sheriff’s Office increases reward for information on home break-ins

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The reward has doubled for information on several home break-ins.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s office Facebook page said the reward for information is now $1,000. It was originally $500.

There were 10 break-ins over the past week in Leland and Winnabow neighborhoods. Deputies said that doesn’t include the five that happened on Monday alone.

Victims told WWAY to get in the burglars are coming in through unlocked windows or kicking in doors. These incidents are happening during the day.
