BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC (WWAY) — An 80-year-old Dunn man is facing multiple drug trafficking charges after Brunswick County deputies say they recovered nearly 11 ounces of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, Vice and Narcotics Agents, with assistance from BCSO Road Patrol, stopped Willie Anderson Dock Jr. on Wednesday in the Boiling Spring Lakes area. Deputies say the arrest followed a three-month investigation in which Dock was identified as a supplier connected to drug distribution operations in both Brunswick and New Hanover counties.

During the stop, investigators recovered roughly 11 ounces of methamphetamine from the vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.

Dock is charged with three counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances, conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held at the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $1 million bond.
