Brunswick County fire contained

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY)– Brunswick County Fire Marshal Scott Garner says fire fighters have cut a line to stop the fire on Clark Way.

Garner says the fire appears to have started in a camp fire. It spread over 10 acres of land including a vehicle. He says they were able to dig a line around the blaze in order to keep it from spreading.

No injuries have been reported.
