Brunswick County, N.C. (WWAY) — Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity is inviting the community to participate in a home dedication ceremony for the Wright family today at 10 a.m. at 409 Gray Bridge Road in Shallotte.

The ceremony is open to the public and will feature remarks from the family, Habitat representatives, and community leaders.

Christine Luciano, Interim Executive Director of Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity, says the home is the result of neighbors helping neighbors and also claimed that when a family reaches a milestone like this, it reflects the strength of community partnerships and a shared commitment to building opportunity and stability in Brunswick County.

The home was built through Habitat’s affordable homeownership program, a program that provides partner families with a stable and secure place to live.
