Brunswick County K9 dies

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — In a Facebook post this afternoon, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office announced that one of their own died.

The post read: “We are saddened by the loss of K9 “Bruno”. Bruno served the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of Brunswick County since 2008. Bruno passed away peacefully last evening, with his one and only handler, First Sergeant Justin Brown, by his side. Bruno was nearly ten years old. We will miss K9 Bruno and his service to our agency and our county.”
