Brunswick County schools, courts closed Thursday
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Expected heavy rain overnight and widespread flooding caused by Tropical Storm Debby has prompted two Brunswick County agencies to close for Thursday.
Brunswick County Schools and offices will be closed for students and staff.
However, Brunswick County Early College High School will continue with remote learning for Thursday and Beginning Teacher Orientation will also be held virtually.
The Brunswick County Courthouse will be closed Thursday. All District and Superior Court has been canceled and all cases will be rescheduled. A notice of new court dates will be mailed to the address on file.
