Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office trying to identify alleged Dollar General scammer

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an alleged scammer at multiple Dollar General locations.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man is suspected of scamming multiple Dollar General locations for cash and gift cards. The suspect targeted the Boonesneck Dollar General and the Seaside Dollar General, using deceptive tactics to carry out the scams.
