Brunswick County sherriffs credit community in drug bust

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department credits the community for helping get $26,000 dollars worth of cocaine and marijuana off the streets.

Justin Dior Newsome and Portia Hankins were arrested at their home on Zane Way in Supply late last week.

Along with drugs, agents of the county’s drug enforcement unit found scales and other evidence of drug distribution. The investigation began after complaints of drug activity at the house known as “The Ranch”.
