Buddy’s Crab House & Oyster Bar to be featured on Americas Best Restaurants

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Local restaurant Buddy’s Crab House & Oyster Bar will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants in March.

Buddy’s Crab House & Oyster Bar originally opened in Wrightsville Beach in 1992, founded by Matt’s father, Avery ‘Buddy’ Wiles. A location in Holden Beach followed, and in 1998, in Surf City, the only one still open today.

America’s Best Restaurants, a national media and marketing company focusing on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants, will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant on March 19th.  Popular dishes will be highlighted, along with an extensive on-camera interview with owner Matt Wiles about the restaurant’s special place in the community. The episode will be aired extensively on social media channels at a later date.
