Burgaw Police investigating Halloween hit and run involving child

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — The Burgaw Police Department is investigation a hit and run motor vehicle collision involving a child.

Police say a truck traveling north on the 100 block of Walker Street, in Burgaw, struck a child and left the scene around 8:25 p.m.

The truck is believed to be a 2003-2007 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab truck with a camper shell. Police believe the cab and bed, on the driver’s side, do not match.
