Businesses offer snow removal services after recent snowfall

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) –As snow and ice blankets parts of the area, businesses and residents are turning to social media for help in clearing roads and parking lots.

Among those assisting is Arbor X Tree Service, which has pivoted from its usual tree-trimming services to snow removal.

After being contacted through social media, Arbor X equipped its tractors with flat buckets to scrape up the ice and snow.

Thor Peterson, who is assisting with the cleanup, says the de-icing process could take some time.

“It’s going to take some time for everything to de-ice, but this is the most snow I’ve seen in this area in a long time,” Peterson said. “We’re just trying to help where we can.”
