Businesses that share Trump name get swept up in the circus

NEW YORK (AP) – It’s not easy being Trump these days.

Just ask the people at Trump Tobacco in California, Trump Travel in New York or Trump Chiropractic in Kansas.

None of these and other businesses across the nation have any connection to a certain presidential candidate known for putting his name on just about everything. But that hasn’t stopped them from getting caught in the ups and downs of the tumultuous Donald Trump campaign.

Most say they’ve just gotten more interest and questions from the politically curious. A Muslim tobacco shop owner in Southern California says his business is struggling but he’s not sure he can blame it on Trump. And one funeral business in Nebraska says a man walks by their sign every day and just flips the finger.
