CAM announces new date for Floating Lantern Ceremony

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — After two weather-related reschedules, the Cameron Art Museum announced the date of the Floating Lantern Ceremony.
The event will take place on Sunday starting at 3 p.m.
CAM says hundreds of illuminated lanterns will float across the museum pond creating a memorable evening.
There will be live music from Royce Williams on the keyboard, Josh Yuse on guitar, Perry Smith on drums, and Dara Kahkonen on flute.
Attendees can buy lights bites and drinks from CAM Café.
Lantern sleeves are available for purchase at CAM’s visitor services desk for $20 plus tac and $15 plus tax for members. They’ll also be available the day of the event.
Proceeds from the event will support CAM’s ongoing educational programming.
