‘Campana Sobre Campana: Christmas in Mexico’ coming to UNCW
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar and Ballet Folklórico del Río Grande are bringing ‘Campana Sobre Campana: Christmas in Mexico’ to UNCW.
The show will take place on November 21st at 7:30 p.m. at the Kenan Auditorium.
The show brings Mexican holiday traditions into a story and will feature songs in both English and Spanish.
Through rhythm and dance, ‘Campana Sobre Campana’ features the reenactment of Mary and Joseph’s journey.
Audiences will experience ‘Las Posadas’, ‘Reyes Magos’, and breaking pinatas.
