Candlelight vigil being held in memory of 7-year-old boy killed in Columbus County shooting

CHADBOURN, NC (WWAY) — Chadbourn Depot is sponsoring a candlelight vigil in memory of a 7-year-old boy killed in a recent shooting.

Antonio Jamal Maultsby, Jr was one of six people involved in a shooting last weekend.

The vigil will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Chadbourn Depot Museum.

The public is invited, with speakers including Colene Kelly Faulk, Ken Elliott, Chief of Police and Rev Jerry Ganus.

Candles will be available or you can bring your own.

Donations towards Antonio’s burial maybe given at this time.

The reward total is now at $4,200 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the death of Antonio Jamal Maultsby, Jr.
