NEW HANOVER COUNTY (WWAY)–Incoming students at Cape Fear Community College had the chance to get any enrollment questions answered today before they start their spring semester on January 6th. The community college held its second “One-Stop Enrollment Night” from 4 to 6 Monday evening at Union Station.
Attendees had access to various services, including admissions assistance, financial aid guidance, and academic advising. Jeremy Gibbons is the Dean of Enrollment Services. He says the extra help is important for new students who aren’t familiar with what to do.

“We typically start with an overview of how to become a student here. Then we break down all of the barriers. So, how do you complete the financial aid process? How do you complete the residency process? We get you through all the initial steps so we can jump into the fun stuff, which is registering for classes and making a plan,” Gibbons said.

If you couldn’t attend, Gibbons says team members are available throughout the day to help navigate the process.
