Cape Fear Roller Girls team up with ‘A Safe Place’ in final game of the season
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Cape Fear Roller Girls are teaming up with ‘A Safe Place’ in their last game of the 2017 season.
The double header is on Saturday, September 23rd. A spokesperson for the CFRG’s says they chose ‘A Safe Place‘ as their spotlight charity to raise awareness regarding commercial sexual exploitation and domestic sex trafficking in the Port City and surrounding areas.
‘A Safe Place’ focuses on prevention of and advocacy for the victims of the crimes by providing counseling, survivor-led groups, housing, and even education/vocational training to help them live a better life.

When: Saturday, September 23 – Doors Open at 5:45 PM First Whistle at 6:30 PM
