Carolina Beach boardwalk projects coming along

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The northern boardwalk extension project is wrapping up.

Town Manager Michael Cramer says the final few touches are taking place now and the grand opening should be at the beginning of April.

Back in 2014, the boardwalk arcade burnt down but another one is in the works.

Walls are being built and a sign attached reads that an arcade will be open this summer.

The town says the building only has a shell permit which means until it is approved the interior cannot be finished.
