Carolina Beach PD investigating bomb threat at restaurant

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Carolina Beach Police Department says it is investigating a bomb threat.

The department says it received a call regarding a bomb threat at Michael’s Seafood, located at 1206 N Lake Park Blvd.

Upon police arrival, patrons of the business and one surrounding business were evacuated out of caution.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office provided canine support to complete a thorough search of the business.

Currently, no suspicious or concerning items were located during the search.
