Carolina Beach Road lane closure
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, (WWAY) — According to the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority, on Sunday, September 15th, the southbound lane on Carolina Beach road will be temporarily closed for water infrastructure repairs. This is expected to begin at 5 p.m. and last for about 12 hours.
The righthand lane between Northern Boulevard and Bell Street will be closed meaning traffic will be shifted into the lefthand southbound lane.
Traffic will be blocked in the 400 block of Southern Boulevard and the eastbound lane of the 400 block of Central Boulevard.
