CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Two members of the Carolina Beach Police department will soon have their own bullet proof vests.

K9’s Ammo and Nox will receive their new vests thanks to a nationwide Groupon event that raised $335,000!

Vested interest in K9’s, Incorporated will be providing over 350 law enforcement dogs nationwide with the protective body armor in memory of a Pittsburgh K9 who sacrificed his life in the line of duty last year.
