CFCC launches new Glazier Apprenticeship program

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College, in partnership with Standard Glass and the National Glass Association, announces the launch of a new Glazier Apprenticeship program.

According to a press release, the course is designed to provide students with foundational skills in the high-demand glass and glazing trade.

The three-level program equips students with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed for glass fabrication and installation careers, from residential shower enclosures to high-rise commercial buildings. Upon completion of the full program, students will earn several credentials, including:

  • U.S. Department of Labor Journeyman Certification
  • National Glass Association Certification
  • National Center for Construction Education and Research Certification
  • OSHA 10 Certification
