CFCC Surgical Technology Program maintains 100% pass rate since 2007

NEW HANOVER COUNTY (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College’s Surgical Technology program has now maintained its perfect pass rate for the 11th year in a row.

Students are required to take a 200 question exam. To pass, each person must receive a 70 percent or higher and this year, the students scored between 80 and 90 percent.

“I am so proud of the success of our surgical technology students and I am thankful for the dedication and commitment of our faculty to providing quality, innovative, and engaging instruction,” said CFCC Dean of Health Sciences Angela Ballentine.
