CFCC’S Tyrek Coger signs with Oklahoma State

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College Sea Devil Tyrek Coger over the weekend signed with Oklahoma State University. The 6-8 basketball player originally gave a commitment to Mississippi, but that fell apart due to an SEC admission requirement that involved a fair amount of red tape. With that being the case Coger became a free agent so to speak.

Tyrek Coger averaged 12 points and 7.0 rebounds a game in his only season at Cape Fear Community College under head coach Ryan Manto. Coger has two years of eligibility with the Cowboys according to coach Mantlo.
