CFCC’s Wilson Center prepares for a safe return to performances

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Now that more pandemic restrictions have been lifted, local performing arts venues are preparing for a return of both artists and patrons.  Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) already has started advertising upcoming concerts and events– including a special drive-up movie showing Thursday, March 25th at the college’s Hanover Street Parking Deck.

The “Movies and a Message” program will present The Green Book at 8p.m. that night, with the gate opening at 7p.m.  Details on how to pre-order tickets can be found here: https://www.wilsoncentertickets.com/

The Center has announced upcoming performances, and has a new plan in place to keep people socially-distanced and wearing masks.  Capacity will be limited to 250 visitors, and strict new sanitizing protocols will be in effect in restrooms and other areas of the Wilson Center.

Staff members say they are looking forward to bringing high-quality, big-name entertainment back to the Cape Fear.
