CFPUA offering water treatment plant tour

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — This Saturday, CFPUA is offering tours of the water treatment plant.

Right now, there is room for 25 people to sign up for the 10:00 a.m. tour. The Facebook Group, Wilmington’s Stop GenX in our Water, organized the event.

The group says the tour will last an hour.

Because there are a limited number of spots, you need to sign up on the event page created on Facebook. Organizers say if the 10:00 a.m. time slot fills up, they can accommodate more tours.
