Changes promised amid racial tension at Mizzou
COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — The University of Missouri system says starting in January, it will offer diversity training to all new students, as well as faculty and staff.
It’s one of the changes coming following student protests that led yesterday to the immediate resignation of the university system President Tim Wolfe and the end-of-the-year resignation of Columbia campus’ Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin.
Students had accused Wolfe of being insensitive and not responding to reported racial incidents.
