Chanticleers celebrate national title in style in Conway

OMAHA, NE (AP) – Coastal Carolina is the first team from outside the power-five conferences to win a national championship in baseball since Fresno State in 2008. The Chanticleers become members of the Sun Belt Conference on Friday, but first gave the Big South its first title in a team sport before leaving. Coastal Carolina is the first team since Minnesota in 1956 to win the CWS in its first appearance.
