WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A judge sentenced a Charlotte man to 20 years in prison for dealing cocaine in the Wilmington area over a five-year period.

Kinte Fisher, 47, pled guilty in November. He started moving narcotics to a stash house in Wilmington in early 2017 and distributed at least 62 kilograms of cocaine through the summer of 2022.

In late July, he was arrested after a chase that ended on the Wilmington Riverwalk. Fisher supervised several other people involved in drug trafficking, including his girlfriend.
