City Council approves $125K for real time crime center equipment


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  Wilmington city council approved some money for new equipment for the Wilmington Police Department tonight.

The resolution gives $125,370 to the department’s real time crime center. It is a project still being developed.

The money will pay for a video wall, work stations, network access and other equipment needed.
