City of Wilmington hosting free mulch giveaways once a month
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — After a overwhelming response to a recent mulch giveaway, the City of Wilmington will now host free mulch giveaways on the last Friday of every month for the foreseeable future.
The next giveaway will be at June 27th, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Legion Stadium’s overflow lot.
- First-come, first-serve — get there early.
- Must hand-load (no equipment help will be provided).
- A limited number of stump grindings will be available.
- No commercial vehicles, please.
- Open to all area residents.
