City of Wilmington transitions numerous departments to Skyline Center

The city says they prioritized occupying the building with minimal upfit costs, with many departments creatively adapting existing spaces for their operational needs.

City Council meetings will eventually transition to the new building, adapting an existing conference room space. This provides the opportunity to resolve a number of technical challenges with the current council chamber, according to the City of Wilmington.
