City presents 10-year plan to end homelessness

WILMINGTON — The City of Wilmington presented its ten-year plan Wednesday night to end chronic homelessness.

A committee appointed by Mayor Bill Saffo has come up with a first draft of the plan. The committee said in a workshop Wednesday organizers need nearly $283,000 to fund the organizational portion of the plan.

In the first phase the City would provide support services and permanent housing.
