Clayton man arrested on multiple gun charges
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office says a man is in custody for allegedly stealing more than a dozen guns.
On May 14th, a man allegedly forced his way into a home on Old Cribbtown road and stole about 20 firearms, several watches, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
The sheriff’s office eventually identified Larry Norris, 47, of Clayton as the suspect.
On September 10th, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office found the stolen goods in Norris’s home, and soon confirmed they were the material stolen from Columbus County.
Norris is being held in Johnston County under a $6,000,000 bond.
