Holmes is the President of the North Brunswick Kiwanis Club and she said, “We want to give them a day that’s all about them. They come in and we help them find sizes. We help them put together outfits. We take it for granted to go to Belk or Dillards or wherever to shop and we just want to extend this to people in our community that are just trying to survive every day.”
All the clothes at the distribution had been donated by people in the area.
Holmes says it was very heartwarming to see everyone taking clothes for themselves and for their children and is thankful she can make a difference.
