Coastal Coolers: A new soda shop in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —Coastal Coolers, a new soda shop had its grand opening on Saturday.

The shop, allows customers to add flavors, creamers, and fresh citrus to sodas or lemonade.

Husband-and-wife owners, Stephanie and Ryan Cominella, recently moved to Wilmington from Minnesota and have already felt welcomed by the community.

“We really wanted to get into that niche where there were people looking for non-alcoholic, family-friendly, but still fun and flavorful drinks. We’ve really felt the love, especially being new to the community. All these people we don’t know just came and showed us love and embraced us, which has been amazing.” – Stephanie Cominella

Customers can create their perfect “dirty” soda by choosing from a range of mix-ins.

Coastal Coolers is located on Market Street, in the shopping center in front of Walmart.
