College golfers compete at Landfall Tradition this week
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A strong field of collegiate golfers hit the links this week to raise money for UNCW golf programs at the Landfall Tradition.
Eighteen teams from 11 states join UNCW golfers for a three-day tournament at the Country Club of Landfall Dye Course.
Considered one of the finest women’s college golf tournaments in the nation, the Landfall Tradition has hosted more than 1300 players over the years and this year the teams include the number four ranked Duke Blue Devils.
Players tee off Thursday afternoon with the annual College/Am Tournament followed by regular play at 8 Friday morning.
Admission is free and open to the public.
