Columbus County man accused of killing 17-year-old in deadly shooting

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Columbus County man has been arrested for allegedly killing a woman in a shooting.

Jeffery Dale Fowler has been charged with murdering 17-year-old Kaley Michelle Fowler.

Fowler was transported to Columbus Regional to be treated for his wounds before being arrested upon his release.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office says further information will not be released to uphold the integrity of the investigation.
