Columbus County man gets life without parole for murder
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Columbus County man gets life without parole for a murder that happened in 2020.
Marty Davene Soles was convicted for the murder of Tony Clayborn.
On March 2, 2020, an eyewitness saw Soles shoot Clayborn on Pine Circle Road in Tabor City. In coordination with the FBI, cell phone records also placed the victim and Soles around Pine Circle Road at the time of the shooting.
