Columbus County pastor charged with sex crimes involving a minor

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A pastor from Columbus County is in the Horry County jail facing charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

According to online records, Devin Cyrus Carroll, 22, was arrested Saturday morning by Conway Police.

He is charged with 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, with the victim being under 16 years of age.

He is being held in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center under a $30,000 bond.

Carroll is currently listed as the pastor of Happy Home Baptist Church in Nakina, a position he has held since May of 2024.
