Columbus County woman arrested for allegedly pointing gun at Dollar General employee

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Columbus County woman was recently arrested for allegedly attempting to rob a Dollar General store she had previously robbed.

Kiara Monique Campbell, 23, was taken into custody on Wednesday.

The Sheriff’s Office says a call came in from the store manager about a woman who had previously stolen from the store and was back again.

Campbell had an outstanding warrant for her arrest from August of 2023 for one misdemeanor count assault by pointing a gun, one misdemeanor count larceny, one misdemeanor count injury to personal property, one misdemeanor count communicating threats, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
