Columbus Regional Healthcare System honors employees during National Hospital Week

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — It is National Hospital Week and hospitals across the Cape Fear are celebrating staff in special ways. 

Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville has honored employees all week long. There have been free meals, T-shirts, and even massages for all employees to enjoy as a thank you. 

Wednesday an indoor picnic was held. 

Stephanie Miller is Columbus Regional Healthcare Systems Physician and Community Services Manager. She said last week was National Nurse Appreciation Week and this week is a chance to say thank you to all at CRHS. 

“This is a week for everybody because we all touch a patient in one way or another and it takes all of us to make it happen,” Physician and Community Services Manager Stephanie Miller said.

On Friday, Columbus Regional Healthcare System will hold a Women’s Health and Wellness Expo at Baldwin Woods OB/GYN in Whiteville from 12 to 4 p.m..
