Community invited to Surf City bridge construction meeting

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Surf City town leaders and the North Carolina Department of Transportation are holding a meeting for the community about the new bridge.

Last month, we told you the new Surf City high rise bridge could be done sooner than expected.

The meeting will include construction plans, including full size plans of Detour for the roundabout construction, and timeline and phase charts.

It is happening tonight at the Surf City Community Center from 5 to 7 p-m at 201 Community Center Drive.
