Community pulls together to give NC homeless couple dream wedding

CHARLOTTE, NC (WSOC) — A Charlotte couple danced their way into 2021 with a new marriage and a new perspective.

Kappon and Kelly Williams planned on a small wedding at the courthouse because they have no income and no permanent home — they live in tents just north of uptown.

But when volunteers started working on outreach efforts, everything changed.
