UPDATE: Police seek identity of woman accused of vandalizing Confederate statues

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have released surveillance photos of the woman accused of vandalizing two confederate statues Thursday morning in downtown Wilmington.

Someone threw orange paint on the George Davis statue at Market and 3rd Street and the Gabriel James Boney statue at Dock and S. 3rd Street. It happened around 3 a.m.

It looks like the statues have been cleaned with something, but there is still orange paint on both of the statues.
